Some friends and I got a Left 4 Dead server. The server is physically located in San Jose, Ca, and has very good bandwidth. This isn't an 'official' LoD server, but feel free to play on it. You'll have to join it directly though of course. To do this, you have to enable 'Developer Console' in your settings. Then once you have Left 4 Dead running, hit 'tilde' to bring down the console and type 'openserverbrowser', this will bring up a traditional Server Browser like TF2.
The server is set to Vs. 24/7, add us to your Favorites, cya there.

Yeah last night I was against Moxie, Apok, and Torak. My team was awful. They wouldn't save each other. Had no clue how to move as a group, and wouldn't do the simple stuff like a molotov on the roof before going up at the final stage. I even had them shoot a boomer on top of me and knock me off a ledge. Lol it was so bad. So if you do play, get on the LoD side.  I did get to bash Torak over and over with a tank though, which was strangely arousing.

Yeah I saw you last night, and yeah your team was awful, sorry! If we get a good group of 8 players I can up the difficulty to Advanced. Also, when you're crouching as a Hunter you make that growling noise, so if you're trying to hide in the shadows or around a corner, don't crouch until the last second before you're about to pounce. A couple times I caught you around corners cuz I could hear you. gg last night.

Yeah, I didn't even know about that till you said something in chat last night. I was hoping they would rage quit so I could maybe get a decent team  yeah GG it was a blast though.

I assume so, I think it requires Steam to play, and Steam is pretty locked down. I got my copy from Steam so I didn't have to put in any key or code, but most online games require authentication of some sort, safe assumption.

I dled it first and played through multi player. Then I bought it. This game is definitely worth the dough.

right on ill try and hop on this server tonight. used to bad ping on 80% of the servers i get on, so a san jose based will be a nice change.
