Yeah, or that could be me. I realize all this and I know there's nothing I can do to be ready in the truest sense of the word but I'll just have to deal with that like everybody else.

Fuck if i know but that's his deal. He enlisted as a basic grunt in the middle of college and went airborne, then SF after his first deployment and by now I've lost track of how many times he's been out there.

I'm not worried about the physical part, I've been working towards this idea since high school. I'll handle it. The experience part does bother me but well... either go for it right away or get deployed then try... so fuck it I'll just give it a go from the start.

Haha typical marine. Everybody talks so much trash about each other I really can't regard any of it as legit. My army friends tell me about what braindead and ineffective meatheads marines are, my navy corpsman friends call them bullet sponges and talk about how navy seals are better than everybody else, and my marine friends usually just go in a murderous rage if you tell them any of this and put down every other branch. It's all opinion as far as I'm concerned.

But yeah thanks, I try to get the thoughts of everybody I meet who's military.
