I'm not big a big fan of single player JRPGs anymore, but FF7 was fucking epic.
Think I tried 8, 9 and 10 too. Turned too gay and I hated the gunblade steampunk shit (plus sinking countless hours in single player as a gay hero with a guitar-sword, fucking pokemons and little girls as sidekicks)
Is this a remake or sequel of FF7?

I dont know what it is. It just seems epic and square obviously put the best they could to work on it(judging by all the names that keep flashing through out the trailer)
it def has the ff 7 feel tho.
probably wont launch till 2010 so its just jerk off material.

Ya i bet this game spanks all the other ff. Just by the ones working on it. And it said it had the writer from 7 and 10, both my fav ff games.
i loved 10's story, I rarely play single player games anymore, but always try final fantasy just for the epic story.
lets cross our fingers its not another ff8

i google like once every 6 months and fucking PRAY that this game gets released. i would seriously buy a PS3 just for a ff7 remake release.
but it wont happen. which is stupid. i thought the asians were supposed to be smart?
esp since they just re-released crono trigger for the DS.....i mean, that game was badass! why are they avoiding ff7?!

Their avoiding it because a bad remake would kill the company and the FF franchise for a longgg time.

makes no sense. just redo the entire story with ps3 graphics. thats all i really want. i dont want new content i dont want anything more than what the game had. the bike scene when he was riding around was AMAZING. ps1 graphics were insane and if it was on a ps3 i would shoot you in the face cuz i was so excited and shit on your floor......then drink your coke

Thats the thing though not only would they have to redo the graphics engine they would have to redo all the sound effects voices , music to update it to today's standards

They could keep the old music, voices, update graphics and throw in that smell yo dick song and its GG - FF7 new and improved! It would release in 2 weeks...
