I agree 100%. Same reason I was against the financial bailout.
If you can't pay it back, don't spend or borrow it.
BTW..its not your right to own a home. Not everyone in there lifetime will or even should and its definately not the Governments job to help you own one or bail you out of one you can't afford but bought despite the obvious.
