actually meditation was introduced really early....so sorry if youre memory like mine sucks but meditation was way before UO:R, probably even before t2a...i remember because i thought it was a dumb skill and then found it worked passively

Arrgh my brain hurts, wasn't UO:R the introduction of The Fame/Karama and stat loss and whatnot, before T2A? Anyway when I was rockin on Baja was before anyone used anatomy, meditaiton, eval, any of that. Hell, barely anyone even had gm in all their skills.

my earilest memory of UO was when i was running around destard killing some red guy who just pked some guy for his plate. and i was fireballing him and lightning him and it was before dragons attacked you. and then i remember the day i got 60 str and i could use plate. i ran around in full plate laughing at everyone who had chain and ringmail on....

but im pretty darn sure that med came out after stat loss and the new karma system, but before t2a. somewhere in that medium

Yea, I also remember the day I got 60 str. It felt like the biggest accomplishment I had ever made! So much time spent chopping trees...
I'll also always remember my first house. I had spent an eternity makign fancy shirts and reselling them back to the vendors, just to save up what now seems like a puny amount, but back then was a massive 8,000 gold. That was back when you could even place houses in towns, and I don't know how, but I got a spot not too far off to the right of the Inn closest to brit GY, right by the bridge to Blackthornes castle.

looking at those old pix i remember Immortal ontop of the west trinsic bank. i loaned him 10k gold to buy a small hosue for his blacksmithy as sir lionel, and he never paid me back.

wolfshield gave me a pestel that was prepatch and made deadly poison pots like 4 outta 5 times, rather than 1 outta 8 or something. and distortion ha, crazy times.

Sir Metallica and Physco were the same person. I used to run with him at the X-roads before he was in any guild. Same with wolfshield, that bastard rocked then he kinda disappeared.

I played UO back in the day that guard kills were rampant, in the little mountain pass between Brit and X-roads. Its when you could steal and be flagged grey for a brief time, they would attack you and you could run off. Once your stealing greyness wore off you could run back to the guy that attacked you for stealing and attack him. If he hit you, you could call guards. I started playing the game, 6 months after release and played for 7 years. On side note I also made around 8k in real life money selling vanq and power weapons on ebay from shit I looted form houses using the flower sacks and gate bug.
Was an incredible game until the neon weapons came out.
Many different characters, Boy, Gotcha Wallet, Scandies, Phantom, Hades, Game Over.
Was in multiple guilds to include malagents, LoD, NiG, Jester Clan, couple others at end game. Taught Roby how to pvp, then he excelled far greater then I ever imagined, way better then I.
Rolled with Torak, Bamofo, we owned the X-Roads.
