The Congress is more concerned about "spending"
No truer word have been said, Republican or Democrat.
Both political parties have promised unsustaining promises in order to get elected. Their goal is to get elected.
They will promise you no taxes and unlimited benefits, and the stupid public chose between a never ending fountain of benefits, or tax breaks. Both are unsustainable.
I could promise you 50 million buck into your personal bank account every week. Do you stop to ask "where will it come form"? No, you just look as far as your nose, tops.
As a rich guy (couls you are a rich guy in this world), you want a handout. The poor guys wants one too. Everyone gets a handout. So who pays for it?
It is not a presidential line item Veto (Bush didn't veto issues that shorted the country), that is bullshit. Then you are down to whom the residing president panders to.
It is a matter of what you as an american want to do, don't pawn the responsibility off on the president (I didn't see you bitch on the tax cuts for rich folks so that proxy decision making is null).
You need to make a noise as an American. You need to lobby your representatives to push through tax hikes (I'm guessing you haven't done that lately). Till you do that, you have zero basis of value to comment, other then as a parasite on the nation (rich, poor or otherwise).
Remember, other nations have grabbed their nutsacks and are paying down debt. Are you less of a man as an american? Are you a national rapist who cares about this week only?
The longer you wait, the worse it will get.
I don't give a fuck if you are rich or poor in the end. Your nation is DYING and you are abandoning it as is everyone else.
