I take offense to your post. Yes I do have people working minimum wage, they work at night cleaning the shop. They do not get health care, currently they are all high school students.
The rest get benefits, and are paid a good wage. I am sure most could make more elsewhere, but they have been with me from the start, and were more like a family.
I have never come here stating I am a business guru, but I do own one, and I do have employees. I am creating jobs in my community. And sure you can come in here and say, well if you can not afford a tax hike of 11% then your doing something wrong. Ok I accept that, I should be making money hand over fist, but I am not.
We are the last company in my industry that still produces here in the states. Most of the work is sewing. We work on a very slim margin, because my sewing jobs are not outsourced to the far east.
So tell me how this new government is going to help me out? Why is it fair on any level for someone to pay another persons burden of tax's?
