I don't know where he got the information, but almost every news story i have watched on this mentioned something about the US Administration claiming to back the Georgian president in his moves. We did supply the military with weapons so wouldn't it make sense for us to be backing them? Of course we didn't do anything when it came down to it because that idiot is the one that committed political suicide.
