I actually said that in jest, I have only seen dog in korea 2-3 times in an open market. I don't believe it is eaten much anymore and this was when i was much younger.
Srsly though, you can open almost any korean person's cupboard and find a bag of msg sitting there waiting to be used in something tasty and smelly.
