"Game companies get "signed" by publishers much like music artists do. If your shit sucks, you're not getting signed, hence the delay obviously. Not to say that there aren't good bands that aren't signed, you get the point though, it's a money thing."
Ya, a money thing, obviously you missed that big time..
The whole argument was about commercial success, not about who is a good band and who isn't. I was using the music industry as an example which you obviously took too literally.
"You missed the point, record companies know artists like Lil Wayne will sell, Why? Because they know there's ten million 14 year olds who are gonna buy it who have been brainwashed by expansive marketing campaigns." <---Strange that quote has to do with commercial success too.
Let me restate it for you in in simpler terms:
Publish: To prepare and issue (printed material) for public distribution or sale. <---SALE
Commerce: The buying and selling of goods, especially on a large scale, as between cities or nations. <--Large scale selling, AKA being signed.
Now if you put the two together, you have the core of what I'm trying to say. Darkfall needs to be good to be PUBLISHED for COMMERCE, or it will never be released. It's taken them 7 years to produce a one and a half minute trailer.
Sorry it was so hard for you to understand.
With the amount of word twisting you can do I would imagine you would have been intelligent enough to pick this up in the first place.
So put up your next argument, admit you're gay, then I'll admit I'm gay and we'll be done with it. Then wish me a happy birthday shnookums.
