TASERS
Probe finds one-third of people shot by Tasers need medical attention.

Almost all departments have policy in place where they bring a tased person to the hospital to be examined prior to being booked in jail.
Almost ALL people who are tased get medical attention... just not any treatment - they don't need it.
Every once in a while a taser is misused, but it's rare. The taser should be used when it would also be reasonable to place empty hands on a person (to control them). If someone is refusing to exit their car, the officer has two options - grab them and pull them out or tase them. (Also, pepper spray could be used but that shit is more annoying than anything.)
The bottom line is, if you do what you are told you won't get tased. If you feel you are being "wronged", arguing on the side of the road will NEVER work... and ultimately will make your case weaker in court.
As far as the "deaths", I ask for a case where "excited delirium" wasn't the cause of death...
Find me a case where a normal citizen, not on drugs, died from the taser alone. Again, I say : if some asshole is using meth, I don't care if he dies.
