Here's an idea lets arm the ppl protecting you with absolutely nothing! When some crackhead kicks your ass and mugs you, you'll wish cops had tasers. I want you to try being a police officer patroling the worst ghettos. Oh wait we wont have ghettos if we supply those crackheads with taxpayers handouts haha.
You guys are blowing this out of proportion and letting your hate for Stretch get in the way that he is right.
Tasers are great for law enforcement, but their current implementation is misused, unconstitutional, and studies are coming forward showing that they are VERY dangerous. A lot of people are dieing and a lot of talk about VERY big lawsuits going against the taser companies for intentionally lying about their scientific studies with the safety of tasers. People are dieing and it is getting noticed.
I started looking into this when Stretch started posted about this months ago. I laughed at first, like this:

I've been tasered willfully. My friends have been tasered by accident. Nobody died, but the threat is out there. So better control needs to be taken when it is used.
