Well guys, its getting to where I want it. Still having a few little issues but what do you expect when you build your first bottom end and have almost no miles on the new engine.
First time to the track was a week ago last friday. I drove 84 miles to the track on an engine that had not even been broken in. All I had done was start it up for 10 minutes and then change the oil. I developed a boost leak ( vac line to the blow off valve came off ) and I could not change the boost. I was stuck at 16 psi which is low, not even in the efficiency range of my turbo. I could not break out of the 14's. I discovered my problem when I got home and fixed the issues.
So, I headed out last Friday to the track, Changed fuels as well. No longer running regular gas, now I am running E-85. E-85 is about 30% less powerful than gas so it takes 30% more fuel which means my injectors, my new ones are already too small but I can at least run what I am for boost which is fine, I have more power to make at the current level of boost and fuel.
Here are 5 videos, 1 idle, 4 from the track. And then a few pictures, couple of my car and then a couple of the car that I am supposed to race this Friday if the weather holds up. Hopefully I can walk this $500,000 super car <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" /> His best is 11.8 in the quarter, mine is currently 12.3 but I have some tuning to do and dont see why I could not walk him by Friday.
