I am far beyond outrage by now. This terrorist thing isnt exactly incredible news. I suggested you must be surprised by these actions because you keep posting them like they are new.

Oh? I posted the news and it's my fault? I keep posting "them" like they're new? This is the only news I've reported on, the other posts from the other post was conceptual and opinionated. You're such a god damn hypocrite, it's laughable. I also got your point, but you're again wrapped up in your own little world without seeing the big picture (no surprise there). Do I have a high opinion of myself? Absolutely! I'm very confident in many walks of life, from personal to professional, to recreational, but this isn't about me. I can only assume you're asking me this because you don't like being confronted, or you're taking something personal. I mean after all I just posted a news article, and all of a sudden you're asking me if I'm conceited (basically). This confuses me as you claim to be so righteous in your mind set.

I am asking you this because you seem to spend a lot of time here picking at what you consider faults in others. I suppose it is hypocitical of me to turn around and do the same but since you dish it out so well I assumed you could take a little back.
Let me make my criticism constructive though, as you get older you will want to mellow out a bit and realize that folks are all different. It will save you alot of stress and potential heart disease to just let them be as they will.

The irony from the ignorance goes hand in hand I suppose. You expose your own faults, I don't pick at them, but it's not about you, or me. Just like you trying to make this about me, you're trying to manifest that I'm somehow responsible for your lack of understanding the concepts and somehow twisting into me "pointing out your faults". Gotcha.
Although I appreciate your concern about my cardiovascular health and well being going forward, I'm not too worried about stressing out because someone is ignorant to anything outside of their own tunnel vision, and misinterprets that as trying to change their mind. What can you do?

Understanding the concept, you mean the one where we should all become animals because there are animals in the world? I guess leaning from history isn't something you are keen on?

You missed his point. Our enemies are terrorist fanatics. One would expect them to torture.
Our leaders are not religious fanatics, so one would not expect them to torture, since torture is an atrocity.

Actually I didn't miss his point, I'm surprised you interpreted it as such. My question was rhetorical.
Some might say our leaders are religious fanatics too, but not in the sense where their ideology encourages killing innocent people because of their belief or non-belief, so in that sense I agree. But severing fingers is a whole different level of "torture" and a whole different level of atrocity. With that said, I'm not saying one justifies the other, I'm just reporting the news and pointing out the hypocrisy of outrage for one, but not the other.

Sorry, exactly what hypocrisy are you trying to highlight? Are you supposing that people think that waterboarding is bad and that cutting off fingers is cool? I'm not sure what your point is here.

Rakoth, I'm sorry but you're a waste of time for anybody willing to afford you any. You're logic is so obscure and primitive, it's like a skipping record with no hope, like a program running. All I did was post an article, and somehow you've turned into an eye for an eye. The point you missed, since I usually have to point them out for you (wherez waldo?), is that you're a hypocrite for being outraged at one and defending it righteously, but being ho hum about this one, and writing it off as "oh that's old, and what did you expect". You've been consistent with your refusal to transcend your own ignorance, even for a minute.

I am outraged equally by all torture is the point I have tried time and again to make to you. Just because they do it does not mean we should.
I guess this is not clear enough for you, and I will be "ignorant" and "hypocritical" again as your rebuttal.

If by saying you're outraged in one sentence, but being outraged with a passion about water boarding, with every response you've posted, then yeah, you've really made yourself clear on that point. lol
Your responses were less than outraged, and you immediately started taking it down the path of, some sort of comparison of eye an for an eye, coupled with reasoning and excuses for the act itself. I guess you just assumed I posted it for that reason. You can't be clear for others, if you can't even be clear for yourself.

Nope, the hypocrisy is the passion in which some people fight for terrorists rights, and how little they care for the treatment of their own people, caught in the same predicament. And to an extent, yes some people will say that cutting off fingers is justified as a result of some terrorist being water boarded, and that that person deserved it somehow. Just like some people say we deserved being attacked on 9/11. The other hypocrisy is not liking news that doesn't fit the agenda, even though this news isn't even about one affiliation or the other.

Anyone who says we deserved to be attacked is a fucking moron. However, 9/11 was the direct cause from years of poor political policies. As it is clearly stated in the commission report.
It just goes to show how our policies today can have an influence on the safety of our people in the future. Hence why I am against torture even if the enemies keep doing it to our people.
