bottom line is this:
The guy broke the law.
Just like Bill Clinton lying under oath.
Just like Scooter Libby lying under oath.
Noone is held above the law. In fact our politicians need to be held to higher standards than the common citizen. If they fail us, then what do we have.
And to answer Stretch's rebuttal to this, yes put Bush on the stand, put Cheney on the stand, put the CIA analysts who got the intel wrong. If we find out that they lied and did so under oath, throw the book at them.
