Being a Catholic (non-practicing) the message I got was to try and live your life like Jesus did by trying to sin as less as possible and love your neighbor as you love yourself. Simple and plain standards to follow. Jesus, this is so like 5AM doinked out drunk talk on the porch on a cool night.
