We drop bombs knowing they will often result in killing women and children. Is it the up close and personal way they kill people that makes one more abhorrent than the other? Do you think they don't see that the Christian religion pervades our military?
We don't just randomly throw bombs down out of the air into populated areas. Most of the civilian casualties in Iraq are the result of car bombs and IEDs. The rules of engagement are pretty freakin' solid and aimed to avoid civilian casualties.
