They are no different to the agencies who rated the bonds. They are paid to meet a number or a rating. No difference. RE agents are just used car salesmen in this mess (they are just grease in the gears).
Without the ratings agencies or the appraisers doing their nefarious deeds, this would not have reached the level of degradation achieved. They are the "objective analysis" in all of this mess. Nobody noticed that the "objective" part was a target to hit.

Inflation will eat all of us alive. Those dollars in your pocket will buy less and less. You will not receive enough pay raises to keep up with it. On the bright side, the rich will generally get eatten alive too (except for republicans because they are aliens that all have printing presses in their basement where they make euros. If you pull on their faces, the mask comes off and you will see they are actually reptillian).

USPAP is the appraisal bible. A moral code they are taught for two days finally testing their edumication on the second day, never to see the dam thing again. A few other easier courses are also required.
Appraising is like any Democrat poll, you can come up with any dam figure you want. lol
