How about diablo? All you got was coin and an ear but that ear would have always been more valuable to me in that game than some 'godly-demon sword of swiftness' or some shit because it bothered me someone would have something with my name on it saying they killed me. I'd much rather take something that has their name ear or head maybe?
OMG, Diablo would have been 10x more hardcore than it was (I love that game... i still play D2 sadly enough) if you could loot people... ROFL... Its such an item intensive game that full loot would have made even grown-up Jesus cry.
In fact there was this old trick (not really a bug) that probably ended many people's D2 career. You would duel them, and then drop junk around thier bodies... If they picked up an item, and then thier body, and you PKed them again, thier body would "pop" and you would get all thier shit... I bet a lot of people quit after that.
