We're 35 yrs ahead of all simulations right now.
ie: what the simulations predicted for 2040 occured this year and are occuring. At this rate (if it is linear) we should see the yr 2100 estimates occuring in 2012. I wouldn't venture a guess on the outcome, but we'll see desertification of the entire south east US. We'll see an entire lack of necessary water for CO, AZ, NV, south 1/2 of CA. We'll also see a 200 to 600 mile lateral band of agriculturally viable terrain open up in northern Canada.
We'll see the desertification & tremendous strain due to nature & humans not being quick enough to adapt. If it took 100 to 200 yrs, it would not result in as much damage as new indigenous species infiltrate and adapt.
