The system is so corrupt that it cannot allow uncorruption by virue of it's existance and the mechanisms which create and maintain it's existance. You have to be polluted to have a chance to win, and you do so by out-promising the other contenders with your commitment to not be polluted. Meanwhile you need to outdo them in becoming polluted in order to get your message out that you are not polluted.....makes ones head hurt....
