The whole website is suppose to be like a youtube/myspace for youth sports. If your trying to take your kid to the professional sports level, you might have video, pictures and statistics about your kid that you might want a potential recruiter to see or maybe just friends and family.
As far as "authenic online enviroment". The Look, Feel, and general website atmosphere is would be around sports and not some sort of generalized atmosphere. Hopefully that make sense.
Other interesting thing is it is being given support from ESPN as well. Not sure if that is financial support or what, just something buddy said about it.
