I've been using Steam for voice, but just using private channel, not using the in game voice. It's really nice, although there is no push to talk option, but that's not really as much of a problem as I thought it might be. Anyway I was using voice with my real life buddy. Just hit me up in a chat in steam and we can voice. I turn in game voice off and only use private voice.
