My best friend is a gamer. It's just that girls enjoy different games than guys play. She likes RPG's and wow and any kind of fantasy roleplaying game. Whereas I like to play games that actually require some intelligence.
Not saying that she isn't smart, but she enjoys the whole. Level up, +1 sword. Level up, +2 sword. Level up, +3 Sword. Game Over.
