You know exactly what I was saying. BTW, I don't see any reason to hate because its a strong term in my book, but its obvious that his response to claims he doesn't walk the walk on energy consumption is pure rhetoric with zero fact to back up his neutral carbon footprint claim. Is calling me Mr. Polymerization a way to discredit my arguements because I sell 4.9 million pounds of petroleum based plastic films per month or just a way to expand your vocabulary usage with a word you have never used before?

I don't see how you've discredited Gore. You simply haven't made a scientific assertion about his carbon footprint, you just made some bs up about how you don't believe. Horseshit. I gave you specific definitions to terms being used by the Gore camp. These definitions, if you even read them, were twisted and wildly exaggerated to form a basis on claiming Gore has a "Carbon Neutral Footprint", I used/linked actual sites you use on a minute by minute basis to establish your debate on these forums. I established my arguement based on facts and definition. You have based your logic on a buzz word for planting trees. Claiming that I made something up and then trying to discredit me because your stance on this debate has no arguement is highly typical of someone who has no passion in what they are debating. You have lost this one a few posts back my friend. I never established myself as the expert here, but if really want to understand what my company and many fortune 500's are doing about the very thing you claim makes my arguements weak, I suggest you research the Sustainable Packaging Coalition. My company is a member working with many companies like Coca-Cola, Unilever, Starbucks, Johnson & Johnson etc on true cradle to grave green initiatives. Wait a minute...maybe I am the expert? <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Here is the bait.. Is calling me Mr. Polymerization a way to discredit my arguements because I sell 4.9 million pounds of petroleum based plastic films per month Hook, line, and sinker

I do have to admit, everyone at the academy awards was sucking Al Gores cock. He had like 35 standing ovasions. I think Leonardo Decrapio wants Al's penis in his butt while Tipper watches.

Stretch understand I could state my company has a carbon neutral footprint but no one would believe me unless I offered up the facts. Gore offers up zero fact other than saying he has a Green switch or saying he purchases alternative energy to equalize his carbon consumption. He says he plants trees etc. ( which btw..dont remove toxins from the air produced by coal produced electricity. ) Its simple. The only thing thats proven in the arguement is that he uses Electricity like a crack whore in a coca field. Whether I agree with a carbon neutral concept is mute. So bring some meat to this debate or move on to the next topic. Im ready.

Assuaging guilt by purchasing carbon offsets is a lot like "cheap grace." Cheap grace means the justification of sin without the justification of the sinner. Or for this arguement, justifies the CO2 emissions without making the polluter change his conduct. So is Al Gore buying a right to pollute?

Or for this arguement, justifies the CO2 emissions without making the polluter change his conduct. So is Al Gore buying a right to pollute? Nah, but look here is the thing. It is better then doing nothing. I would rather we trade carbon offsets and make an effort to illicit change then the current situation where most do nothing, and some fight for the right to pollute more. Comparing electric bills is hardly the way to go about change. What has to happen is everyone needs to look at what they can do to offset usage, wether its compact fluorescents, buying green energy, solar, hybrid vehicles, public transit, etc. If everyone on the planet did this we would have a start. I believe a lot of the people who fight so vehemently against this are really just not willing to give up some convenience or luxury they are accustomed to. The fact is Al Gore does more then the average Joe to stimulate this kind of change. I could care less about his politics as I am not American. So maybe my judgement isn't clouded by other factors and as such my belief is different.
