I couldn't disagree more. Cost of insurance in the USA is hugely inflated without a quality of service benefit. Overpaid health workers, lawsuit protection, overpaid healthcare products etc. doesn't give you better health service but makes it impossible for millions of people to have affordable insurance. It's sad that the richest country in the world can't provide health benefits to a big part of its population. It's the only "industrialized" country that doesn't have healthcare for all its citizens. The latest effort from president Bush with the tax break, was just another complicated bulshit that isn't going to work either. it's a shame and definitely not something to be proud of.
