How SB started and where SB is now compared to how UO started and where UO is now... SB wins.
I agree that the first year of UO is pretty much unbeatable, but that game continued to get gayer and gayer to the point of not even worth playing. SB may have started out tough with the lag and crashes, but if you look at where it is now it just got better and better.
There's a reason we are all playing SB right now, and not UO or even some Pre UOR Player run shard. SB is just better.
Its probably a pointless debate, but IMO, SB rivals UO in terms of overall game play. No other game even come close to either of these two.
