the fighting might be interesting, but in the end it's still a tactics style game meaning everything will be the same except for the graphics of how damage is dealt. That and how the hell are you going to have a good storyline that has all those random characters in it?

They are not all pointless. They have all came from one game or another. I wouldn't say they are random.
