Well, Hilliary is a center-right Democrat (who has been falsely labeled as extreme left by certain demonizing right-wing forces that don't care about truth). People like Howard Dean, Nancy Pelosi, Edward Kennedy, John Edwards I'd imagine to be much more sympathetic.

Howard Dean and John Edwards would make things worst. Matter fact, John Edwards is rediculous to even pretend he supports any form of Civil Liberties. I do not like the guy at all.
Nancy Pelosi and Kennedy have much more open views. However, are they really "likely" candidates for 2008 elections? I don't have to shake my magic eight ball to see all signs point to no.
What I was replying to originally was lev saying its a democrat vs. republican thing. Yes, there are democrats who support cannabis. There are also republicans. Saying that democrats winning the election will sway the votes to be more liberal on marijuana is just wrong, because all we need is another Bill Clinton to pump billions more dollars into the war on marijuana and we are back to square 1.
