I think it?s more ridiculous that we as a country have not changed to a clean burning fuel for motor vehicles.........

What ever happened to those cars that ran on electric years back? A bunch of people were driving them, and they were doing ok, then they vanished. I heard somewhere that the car companies recalled all of them for the sole purpose that they were "too reliable" aka they werent making any money off them via parts/service/ect.

I hope you are not being sarcastic, because I am going to agree with you. There are other methods of powering our cars that aren't getting pushed BECAUSE of the greedy money hungry society we live in today.
OT, but has any one read the book "Natural Cures" ?? The fucking FDA, pharmaceutical and food companys are all killing us slowly.

Get a fucking grip. If 1/2 the US went to a hybrid car it wouldnt even touch the amount of pollution being put out by predominantly coal burning China does in a fucking year.
Plus......Your fucking pimp cars wont have the HPower that drives your buying decision.... in a hybrid. So if you wont buy them, Detroit wont make them.

So since the Chinese aren't making an effort to perserve our earth, then we should do the same?

BTW... I don't think it is just our cars.... but we should be putting in an effort try and stop this destruction we are doing to OURSELVES.
Don't act like Global Warming isn't happening... the Gulf Stream is a great example of it. Our ocean temperatures are getting higher and higher every year. Meaning the North Atlantic is getting warmer waters, which is causing Glaciers to melt at an unprecedented rate. Which in turn is making the water colder than normal in the North Atlantic.
What all that means is that weather in the North Atlantic, on our side and on Europes side will get ALOT colder. Tropical regions are going to keep getting hit with worse and worse natural disasters... and regions that are already dry, will end up having century long droughts.
I wish I could explain it with more detail... but I only know a handful of information on this stuff. Enough information to know that if we don't start making a change... our grandchildren are going to be much worse off than we are.
Then again this is a LoD gaming forum.... why the fuck am I even talking about this?

Oil? Cars? These are things that are NECESSARY in life. unless you are fortunate to live close enough to ride a bike and dont care if you have a gf who wont want to drive anywhere and everything you need is within a mile of you.
They will continue to be greedy because its human nature. The End. No law suits or government will pass any laws that turn this around, because they fund campaigns to put presidents in the whitehouse to support them no matter how fuckin stupid they are.
