They are fueling the sectarian violence and indiscriminate violence in Iraq, they push that along as it falls in line with their agenda. They are providing logistics and materials in IED development as well as other hardware (firearms, mortars, ammunition etc...). They are on the ground in Iraq, today, making sure our guys get hurt or dead and no peace occurs between the religious factions. They are waging a war against us today with a proxy force in Iraq, and we can't do shit about it but whine. Sadr has been offerred the job of Supreme Leader of Iraq by Iran once the US is dealt with.
For every day they keep us up to our asses in chaos in Iraq, we spend 129 million dollars. And the price of oil stays high, thereby filling their coffers with our money. They are quite simply bankrupting us as a nation in an unwinnable situation. Iraq will end in civil war, we need to understand that today and deal with it. It is not due to our goals, but because they are who they are. They will simply do it, thats the way they are wired.
In the end, Iraq will become Iran part 2.
They know that we are at a disadvantage now and are making their move, we cannot stop them. The only way to stop them is if Israel does it, but then they lob a few long range missiles into the green zone and we lose command & control of 140,000 troops.
We screwed the pooch on the whole Iraq thing, and we are doing the same shit we did in 1969 all over again, trying to save a situation that cannot be saved at all, at great expense and damage to the nation.
