"Their combat system is very realistic, to the point of applying real world physics and trajectories to spells and missile weapons. They also have included blood splatter, dismemberment, knock back and unconsciousness. They want these features in the game to attempt to provide the adrenaline rush of real combat."
And check out this new screenshot holy shit:

this may be the best game ever made.
They need a way to attract sheep. I like PvP, but nothing beats PKing.

PVP is boring, PKing is a true rush. When playing UO My heart would literally beat out of my chest wihle out pking. This is the ultimate challenge as a gamer. To stalk, study, formulate a strategy and attack plan vs a unknowing victim. Good pks pride themselves in the hunting of prey. And the reward well it used to be free for all on the person you just out smarteds loot. This of course is referring to Pre-candyland UO with pk stat loss. There is no other rush in a video game compared to this.I would venture its the same feeling most of LoD gets when they are doing a Molten Core.Because besides for Couls and Bal there is no true PKC left in LoD. Sorry boys there can be no fun in PVP unless you stand something to Gain and to Lose.

PKC was the gayest incarnation ever. and yes i was part of that idiotic alliance that basically boiled down to:
Hades: "i need help"
LoD: "whats new"
everyone knows that '97 pking was the pinnacle of the sport.

PKC was about as gay as two men fucking. It was never fun to roll around in big groups and PK.

I totally agree that the 2-4 man groups were always the best... but there was something pretty damn funny about those 20-30 man dungeon sweeping groups, especially when they were coming from both ends of the dungeons. It was all about staying near the front of the pack to get in on the kill and avoid the horrendous bounce lag.
As for looting in big groups. That turned looting into a skill all of its own... Its so long ago that I forgot the order, but I think it was something like, keys, bags (hoping for regs), weapons, then whatever was left... Some of you mofo's *cough*spellweaver*cough* clicked that shit fast... heh.
