Had a wireless network setup at my old condo, but soon as I started playing MMOs again I went back to using wires. I would get dropped from the gaming server a couple of times a night, which was basically unacceptable. Wireless is fine for browsing and chatting, but, from my experience, it's crap for gaming.
I pay $25 for a pretty fast and reliable connection.
Isn't there a city over there on the west coast that is trying to setup city-wide free wireless access? There have been rumors of a similar project here in Austin as well.
