haha, man you are just phoning it in at this point aren't you? This is exactly what I mean when I say religion is used as a shield of irrationality.

Because we dont agree, im irrational. Thats rational.

There was a study about the statistical methods used to develop the temperature graph for global warming policies/discussions. The study reveals that there seem to be some major problems with the data/method of the analysis.

You serious? You want me to explain how the atmosphere is not changing do to the fallacy that we have a hole in the ozone? Or the reasons why our earth has gone through a few ice ages? Let the scientists do that.
Stretch,
I am not going to argue scientifically with you, because im not a scienctist. And I dont want to come off as a scientist. Are a few google links going to "win" my argument? No, I just happen to believe the side that global warming is in fact a political fallacy, pushed by an agenda.
Now I do believe we have a very minor impact on the earth as far as pollution goes.
People can only know a little about a lot, or a lot about a little. Hence me saying, let the scientists argue it out.
I want my 2 minutes back.
Now I would argue the first amendment with you. I already know what your going to say before you say it. If you splurge the left talking points of the day on "Freedom of speech". <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />
I will make a post about it after work.

if I remember correctly from Microsofts Age of Kings- the nice peaceful sand nigs (this is another term they prefer) were just chilling when the evil Christians came and turned them into hateful, vengeful warriors. i guess I shouldnt learn my history from computer games- who woulda thunk...

So, um even if their isn't global warming and we are just entering another ice age, what do you think we will do?

The other cool hypothesis is that the magnetic field on the earth is flipping. Its some crazy thing that happens every once in a while, and for a period of like 50years we don't have a magnetic field. That is when we are really screwed, because its the field that blocks like 90% of the radiation from space, not the ozone layer.

Succeed in solving all the problems we understand? That is a bold assumption.
I don't understand why you think that a God that you don't believe in would have to explain anything to you.
If you want to discuss the theological reasons behind why God would "allow" the earth to be destroyed, let me know.

How do you get "wouldn't talk" from "have to explain?"
You went off on too many tangents.
S: wouldn't talk to nonfollowers?
R: incorrect
S: Bombs on Muslims?
R: No
S: religion creation of man
R: No (short version).
S: Doomsday scenarios
R: of Christianity? the revelation is not supposed to be taken literally. and it's not considered doomsday. Many people thought it meant right around the corner after Jesus died.
S: refuse to solve real problems, like global warming
R: as opposed to which fake problems? (and see my post from this morning about the recent study on global warming) Refusing do go on about life because one believes the end of the world is around the corner is directly against what Christianity teaches.
S: They want a global castrophe
R: No.
I'm not worried. I just enjoy refuting your claims. Your claims should be more precise though. You generalize far too often. Of course, there are christians that hold to some of the comments that you've made. Just like some muslims think jews don't deserve to live.

I'm objecting to the mere quantity and complexity of issues you raised in a single post.
You raise one of the most complex and lengthy debates in the history of mankind as part of your post (the existence of God). I just don't feel like responding, in whole, to something like that.
