I know UO is dead, let it rest blah blah balh. But what is worth playing right now? I am sick of WOW, Guildwars, I am not sure if its worth playing. I dont want to remake a char on SB.
Are there any good UO shards? Are there any you can just pay a few bucks and get a 7x dude? Are there miners to kill? I dont really care about PVP as much as I just want some good old PVNEwbie.

Guild Wars is actually pretty fun.. I started playing a little bit again and they've added a ton of new shit
you get faction points now from winning that can be used to unlock any skill/rune/weapon piece
you get faction from the 4v4 arenas now
they've added a ton of new arena maps
2 new classes
expansion thingy is gonna be released soon with a ton of new arenas and objective-based shit
no monthly fee
IMHO GW > WOW in every aspect at this point in time.. open PVP no longer exists whatsoever in WOW anymore, all PVP happens in instanced BGs, same as GW
and what do you get from grinding the same 3 boring ass BGs? you get faction/honor which is used to get items with.. the EXACT same thing as in GW, except GW PVP is much more complex and challenging, whereas WOW PVP is basically "OK LET'S ALL MORTAL STRIKE THE PRIEST WITH OUR DESTROYER OF WORLDS OR HAND OF FUCKING RAGNORAS'S FAT PENIS!"
WOW is all about grinding your life away.. I have no life and even I get bored of that shit

(particularly bitter because I had my priest to rank 10 and long story short had to delete him permanently.. it's sad that when you're doing well in WOW you can be blinded by shiny itemz to how gay it really is)

Yes there is and its a free shard. Its called Defiance you have to use razor and a bunch of other shit to play on the non-OSI servers. THey have some cool shit like capture the flag matches, skill gains super fast. Im making 5x gms in under a day, you can run two accounts same time to macro with . No macro rules, lot of faction pvp, they totaly re-vamped factions to make it more like the players wanted it back when it first came out. No lag and its kinda fun. Averages 500 People on max is like 675 ive ever seen. Lotta pvp.
