Too bad Root is wrong.Dry weed is how you burn your throat.And lose THC content.
You want to to store your weed at a medium humidity, about the same as cigars. Get an inexpensive humidor if your keeping a quantity around for some time.

Go to a cigar shop and pick up a DryMistat tube or order one online and then fill it with water and seal it up in container next to your bag. This will keep the humidty perfect, between 68-73%.

If you have a fair amount, and no humidor like rak, break it up into daily bags and put it in the freezer. The problem with freezing only comes when you are pulling it all out and it melts and freezes again, then you get moldy buds. So just take one bag out each day or whatever, and you'll keep your sticky sticky.
