Just watched the Mashtuur City map cycled 6 times so that the LoD squad on US could stack up in the Blackhawk and pump up their teamwork scores.
Figured "if you can't beat 'em, join 'em", so rather than take the repetitive losses as MEC I switched to US and camped the helo. Got TK'd twice by LoD's intentionally, griped and was kicked.
My comment was roughly along the lines of:
lol "it's our server we can TK indiscriminately"
if anybody wants to look it up in the log.
I'm not here to tell you how to run your server, but I'll suggest that whoring teamwork points in the Blackhawk on this map 6 times in a row isn't very fun for the MEC team, who stands practically no chance of shooting you down (with engies in the back of the Blackhawk repairing, and the only anti-air turrets are at the heli pads).
Intentionally TK'ing a teammate and then kicking him when he complains is pretty far out there as well.
"Fuck off, it's our server." is pretty much the response I got in-game, and that one always makes me laugh, like I've never heard that from a high schooler with admin priveleges before.
With how easy it is to make ranked points in this game in an honest way, I just can't see a reason why you should have to run the same strat on the same map 6 times in a row just to inflate your scores.
http://bf2s.com/player/43700092/I won't be coming back to the server, but if you guys want to build some kind of base of skilled non-LoD regulars coming around, whoever was playing admin God tonight didn't give the MEC players over the past hour a very good first impression.
Sure the server will stay full, ranked ones always do, but points are easy to earn, I'd rather a good challenging set of regulars to play against than run off anybody with talent who accidentally picked the wrong team and realized after an hour how stacked things were, and that there was no interest in changing it.
Enjoy.
