I know we all have differing views and don't agree on everything, but I feel we stand united against acts of terrorism against innocent people. I hope that all of your friends/family in London are safe. My thoughts go out to all those people and their families who were effected in these latest cowardly terrorist acts.

No but really... blair looked really shaken up during his announcement. Its really a shame that Talks about helping countries in dire need has to be overshadowed by such bullshit.

I spoke to a guy in London via icq and he said
"i saw a report from a woman on a bus behind the one that exploded
she said it flew into the air
i saw pics and it was totaly destroyed
it must have been full of people
one woman was interviewed just now on the tv
she said she saw the tube train at edgware road
itwas totaly destroyed too
more than 2 people must have been killed"
this was at 4:47am though.

We are lucky we are located in the area we are in. In Europe they are so succeptable to attacks. Must be fucking scarry to live there.

It is not a slam or flame on any viewpoint, but the Islamic religious schools teach terrorism in Pakistan, Kenya, Yemen, Somalia, Saudi Arabia etc.... They teach their students to kill Christians & Jews, and to do so is a good thing. These kids are brainwashed, and will do it.
We do not have jurisdiction, access etc... to all of these places (ie: if we bomb these schools in Pakistan, we can't goto Afg anymore, that old land locked thing).
As we tolerate their govt's, they crank out terrorists faster than we can nail em.
We will not see the end of this in our lifetimes. They value life differently than we do, and they know it, and capitalize on it.

My ticket to london was on the day after the bombings. I still decided to go and see my friends and previous plans i had arranged. The amazing thing is that i heard so much more from American tv and gossip than i have in London. I'm here in London still and I haven't heard more than 1 sentence about it from anyone. People here just seem to move on with life.

My best friend moved there about a year ago because his father was in the military there and i havnt heard from him since the attacks.
