was the worst movie I've had to sit through TWICE.
One for a film class and another for a film final.
WORST
FUCKING
MOVIE
EVER.
I am pretty sure I fell asleep during the first tiem I watched it. And I NEVER fall asleep during movies no matter how bad they are.
ill post my list later, but it'll probably be more then 10

The problem is, even though i agree with you, Citizen Kane is still #1. The only reason it is there is becuase of the cinematic impact it made on all films following it....

I am not a huge fan of those real popular mob movies. Like the Godfather and Scarface. Goodfellas was decent though, only because of Pecsi's lines in it.
ohhh another top pick movie by critics is "a street car named desire" that movie made me fall asleep also. Acting from the 60s and earlier is just too lame for me, too much of a time gap I spose. The acting was way too over done, way too much dialogue in the movies, and everyone yelled their lines.
pi is good if you are one of those wannabe intellectual yuppy independant types. I though it was retarded though.
blahblahblah im rambling now

one could say that " the birth of a nation" had 10x of a bigger impact on cinema then citizen kane did.
If Orson Welles didnt use the techniques he did in Citizen Kane someone else would've sooner or later. The movie was only popular because of it's correlation to William Randolph Hearst.
I ranked it 1 star on my netflix hahah shocked
