I would have to say that you are right in part. Maybe giving him the finger isnt the best approach. However, Bush has not earned any respect from Canadians. I give respect when it is due. I actually live in Halifax and his motorcade drove right infront of my house. Im glad that people here showed him that we dont agree with his policies and that he took notice.
What you idea of being Canadian? letting everyone push you arourd because we are suppose to nice to stand up for what we beleive in.
The fact is that Bush came up here on only his agenda. (the 1st time in his presidency) He wants help from us, but wasn't open to hear our issues. Things have to go both ways.
Also, im tired of americans thinking they desrve respect because they think they are better than everyone else in the world. Also, there belief that they dont need the help of anyone else because they are to insignificant. Your economy wouldnt survive if Canada wasnt there to fuel you with our rich country of natural resources.

I hate it when you overly liberal sanctimonious canadian post adolescent jagoffs spout this bullshit. You don't speak for the entire country.
If you think Kerry would have been better than you're an imbecile. He ran his campaign like a monkey shit fight. He couldn't make a single fucking decision about something as simple as his campaign theme and you think he's qualified to run a country like the US?
you should have become a brown stain on a hotel matress.

Bush went to Canada for the G8 meeting a few years ago.
Who says he wasn't open to hearing Canada's issues? Is that was Martin said? Can you provide a quote or are you just a stupid fucking liberal who makes shit up and believes it?
I think we all know the answer to that one.

My take on it is that anything said/or done to protest achieves nothing. By being flagrantly rude, we take on the demeanor of the exact type of people being protested.
I personally dislike bush, what he has done to the world and his own country. I have no idea if kerry would be better, as we have no "previous term" as president to use as a comparison. However, bush being reelected is not my decision, nor is it my choice, it is up to his own countrymen to select their leader.
Let Americans, or anyone else feel they are superior and better than anyone else. That should not affect anything on your front lawn.
You have the 2nd best passport in the world (next to Switzerland), you can freely travel to more places without harassment than anyone in the world. Does that matter? Yes, it says the world respects you and trusts you.
You have the worlds largest reserves of oil (far exceeding saudi). It simply has not been tapped yet. In 15 to 20 years, the world will be crawling to Canada's feet looking for oil.
You have the worlds largest reserves of fresh water.
And let folks say what they want about Canada being insignificant. If BC Hydro turned the switch off, the entire US west cost would be dead in the dark. All banks, houses, businesses, data processing, street lights, stop light would instantly go dark. If Quebec Hydro & Ontario Hydro cut the switch, the east coast would cease to function just the same. If Alberta stopped the oil flow (#1 external supplier to the US), end of US economy. Jsut the same as the US has an extreme control on military issues, you have the extreme control on the ability to function as a country. On electricity production and dependancy alone, the control is immense.
Be patient, as the global warming picks up pace, more of Sask, Manitoba etc... will be producing food, while other countries (including the US) have declining production. Northern route will be opening up. More oil is being made available in the north. Fresh water reserves are becoming an issue (look at the SW US), you have the hand on the worlds tap. Diamond reserves and extraction exceed S Africa, with no "blood diamonds" issues.
Just be patient, let everyone else destroy their resources and countries, let them continue to become dependent on you. Let their oil taps run dry, and food production goto shit. All the while be polite, knowing one day you'll be the one in the drivers seat. Just remember when that time comes, not to be the person who now revolts you.

At least I didn't inadvertently insult myself and get jumped by fellow Canadians for your ignorance. On top of that you did a total 180 on your stance when everyone disagreed with you, at least have a sack and be consistent in your views, you follower and gullable and influenced mind.
So in essence you've been MS'd son.
Torak - 2 (I'm winning by 2 cuz of the post I made to you earlier in this thread which owned you too)
