I always thought that our constitution was supposed to protect the minority for the tyranny of the majority? The supreme court is a bitch because it is able to get around all the barriers. Ever wonder why its so damn hard to make an amendment? Its so slight majority can't screw over the minority. But the supreme court got us around that.
I think the supreme court is by far and away the most powerful group in washington. Where else can 5 people competely change laws and not have to answer to anyone?
