The point is not whether they got drafted of not.
I would wager my house that 90% of the people that are over in Iraq couldn't tell you a good reason for being over there.
The poor are put into a position where joining the military is the best option for them. Nothing else pays as well. (for the uneducated).
They are the ones protecting our country. However, being in Iraq has nothing to do with that.
Say there was a treat to our country..... (Ie) Arabs invade the US, I would be the first one to grab my shot gun and go "Muslim hunting"
