Come on man, I know you are smarter than that. It's not about making people feel safer. Do you think there was a reason that the vote pretty much mimicked, wih a few exceptions, the pattern it did last election? Everyone knows that no matter what NY and Cali will always vote Democrat, they are very very liberal areas respectively. It was a majority (30) states that decided the election, not NY or Cali.
Safer has little to do with it, it is all a matter of liberal vs, conservative. Conservative areas went bush, while liberal areas went Kerry.
Try not to try and make it into a whole NYC doesn't feel safer issue, I know you are smarter than that.

I give you a giant "Amen" to that. I don't need the government forcing their religious beliefs on me. My parents tried that enough.
I don't really care if he doesn't get Osama, as long as he can prevent him from doing something, but I agree if he doesn't keep on his ass, to prevent him from preparing him, bush will have failed.

I can't handle it. I got in this super long argument with one of the republicans that are the christian right. She thinks that we should have prayer in school. I almost lost it. She doesn't think that abortion should be legal even in the case of rape. I really hope she gets raped and is stuck with a child.
