What do you guys think of each? Any of you joined either of them? Tell me some of the negatives because it's hard for me to imagine them. Thanks... just curious because I want to get something exciting going in my life. All I do is work, goto school and chill with my girlfriend. Nothing more, nothing less.

Not one of my HS buddies joined the army. One joined the navy, one joined the marines. A ton joined the air force.

My brother has 18 years in the Army, my younger brother has 8 years in the Navy.... comaprisons
Bill ( older) spent alot of time in germany, korea, and various other places while on active duty ( desert storm ect).
Jason ( younger) spent alot of time on a boat.
Bill says that the problem with the army is, the lack of jobs, and general lack of a civilian job with regard to your trained job.
Jason however was a nuclear mechanic and walked out of the navy into an 89K a year job.
If it were me, i would look HARD at the jobs that each of the services offer, and please dont forget about the air force, you'de be amazed how much they get overlooked. ( if you want to be a marine you gotta have a nut loose - but i do love them grunts) No matter what service you are interested in, i would really think alot of it depends on what you want to be trained in for a non-wartime job, and obviously what your interests are for wartime activities as well.
Talk to a recruiter, and they will be able to help.

You gotta be kidding me. Why on Gods' green earth would anyone overlook the AirForce? The training they offer has got to be far more relevant to civilian careers.
