$1,115 is nothing. I'ld pay it in a heartbeat.
Try having a family member who has diabetes (type 1). There is ZERO coverage for that person, and nobody will cover them, no matter what the premium. There is absolutely ZERO chance of coverage. You can't blame the coverage companies, they're there for profit, not your health.
Insulin pump supplies, $200 / month.
Humulog insulin, $130 / vial
Test strips $60 / 50 pack
I can afford this for my family out of my pocket, then claim schedule A unreimbursed medical expense at year end.
A person who does not have that income level choses between insulin, test strips, food, rent etc.... something has to lose out.
One of my former employees costs for his medication is $500/month. Try that on superstar, $6000 a year.
You are right, Canada has a solution.
Humulog insulin costs $25CDN vial, not $130US.
You are a stupid little person who can't look past your nose.
I'ld pay $1.1K a year for my family member to have coverage. I'ld pay $1.1K a year if I did'nt have that situation, just because I have a sense of social responsibility.
Perhaps thats one of the differences between Democrats & Republicans. One has a sense of social responsibility. The other has a lack of concience in respect to others. I've been trying to figure that out (beyond the republicans love of a fiefdom and democrats love of social programs).
Anyway, you are a stupid little minded piece of shit. You have no social concience, and no sense of any responsibility for your community. Hopefully you will become disabled, injured or have a lifelong condition shortly. Then you can truely understand what it is like for others.
Hope you get Diabetes and no medical coverage, once that happens then we can talk, till then you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
Have a great day.
