Kerry's Health Plan Will Raise Taxes An Average Of $1,115 Per Family. To pay for this government-run health plan, families will pay an average of $1,115 in higher taxes. (tax calculations based on number of taxpaying families) While the Lewin study claims that Kerry's health plan will save families $451 on their health care premiums, it assumes that Kerry does not pay for his plan and simply increases the deficit to fund his proposals. (The Lewin Group, "Bush And Kerry Health Care Proposals: Cost And Coverage Compared," www.lewin.com, 9/21/04)
Moar taxes so homeless can get healthcare? no- i like canadas solution to this problem- WINTER
2. Kerry wont do anything til the UN says he can- and I dont want that nigger telling us what we can and cannot do - if kerry dropped this from his statements, then I might consider him as a viable president- but until that day- fuck u and the nigger at the UN

I don'y necessarily support all the decisions Bush has made, but I vote republican. John Kerry makes me ill to the stomach.

$1,115 is nothing. I'ld pay it in a heartbeat.
Try having a family member who has diabetes (type 1). There is ZERO coverage for that person, and nobody will cover them, no matter what the premium. There is absolutely ZERO chance of coverage. You can't blame the coverage companies, they're there for profit, not your health.
Insulin pump supplies, $200 / month.
Humulog insulin, $130 / vial
Test strips $60 / 50 pack
I can afford this for my family out of my pocket, then claim schedule A unreimbursed medical expense at year end.
A person who does not have that income level choses between insulin, test strips, food, rent etc.... something has to lose out.
One of my former employees costs for his medication is $500/month. Try that on superstar, $6000 a year.
You are right, Canada has a solution.
Humulog insulin costs $25CDN vial, not $130US.
You are a stupid little person who can't look past your nose.
I'ld pay $1.1K a year for my family member to have coverage. I'ld pay $1.1K a year if I did'nt have that situation, just because I have a sense of social responsibility.
Perhaps thats one of the differences between Democrats & Republicans. One has a sense of social responsibility. The other has a lack of concience in respect to others. I've been trying to figure that out (beyond the republicans love of a fiefdom and democrats love of social programs).
Anyway, you are a stupid little minded piece of shit. You have no social concience, and no sense of any responsibility for your community. Hopefully you will become disabled, injured or have a lifelong condition shortly. Then you can truely understand what it is like for others.
Hope you get Diabetes and no medical coverage, once that happens then we can talk, till then you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.
Have a great day.

Get a good job so you can provide for your kids.
Yes, this includes healthcare.
This is America, the land of opportunity where you can make something of yourself, not the land of handouts so everyone can have a free ride.
Socialism is for the weak and lazy. Get a job and pay your own way if you want any respect in America.

Moral of the story is that it's a great country provided you don't get sick, old or handicapped.
Do you think then that those born blind, or with any condition should just be put to death? Then they won't impede on your lifestyle or accidently walk too near your SUV.
Ayn Rand must be one of your fav authors. I admit it's very good reading and a solid viewpoint.
Question.....if you feel so strongly about "fend for yourself", then why are you supporting the new welfare state of Iraq? And you are so morally responsible about Iraqis that you want them to have 200 billion dollars worth of schools, medicine, food etc...?
Yet you don't want to give your countrymen the same? Or even a fraction of that? Why is that?
You support the "all star" administration" (as you once called them) in their efforts to provide so much for free for a bunch of people in Iraq who hate you, but you don't care about your fellow american?
