Even though he would be better for the economy and long term interests of the US, he'll lose.
The man is unable to make a stand on anything for more than 10 minutes.
If he was willing to make a stand and stick to it, he'ld have won hands down.
He should have:
1) Said, and maintained that everyone was lied to in order to invade Iraq, and everyone was fooled including him.
2) Pointed out the claims "pre-war" and the "post-war" items like 15,000 tons of Vx which rumsfield pointed to exactly where they are on the map, and called the guys bluff.
3) Made issue of Enron - Kenneth Lay and W's patsy patsy buddy buddy, let me stop that investigation issue.
4) Made issue of the California Blackouts due to criminal manipulation of the power system, and it's subsequent blocking of investigation by the whitehouse (major player Enron...see #3).
5) Made issue of the awarding non-compete contracts to Hallburton (against Govt regs, re: GST) that carried gargantuan profits, and the ties to Cheney.
6) Deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit, deficit.
7) Running 4 years of deficit (see #6) under the premise that it's a post dot-com hangover, while other countries are posting up to 7 yrs of profit (other countries are erasing their deficits).
8) Osama is not in Iraq.
And other such things...he would be way ahead. But the fucking guys can't keep an opinion for more than an hour.
I can't stand what Bush is doing to the US, or to the world, but at least he can keep a thought in his head for 2 days (as long as there are no big words in it). He may have been born with a silver foot in his mouth, but he can at least be consistant.
Kerry is pissing me off, he's a bowl of jello. He's still the lesser of 2 evils, but he'll lose. The man needed to stand by his guns for more than 37 minutes.
