What the hell you talking about? I'm sick of every one blaming the US for all the world's problems. Stirring up a hornet's nest? Since the Olympic slaughter in Germany terrorism has been a constant on the world scene with no one doing anything about it. Finally someone has the stones to step up to the plate and take the fight to the terrorist, instead of cowering and paying off terrorists.
Yes we are a world power who is stable, free, and fairly evenhanded. The reason we try to stop other countries from getting nukes is because must of those countries trying to get them or have them are unstable or have unsavory rulers. (N Korea, Pakistan, Iraq, Iran, Libya, etc.) We built ours as a deterant against the Soviet Union, NOT to threaten other countries. As I see it the US has saved or liberated over a billion people from tyranny. (WWI, WWII, Korea). When we pulled out of Vietnam over a million people were butchered in Cambodia and Vietnam; not a good moment for the US. The world is not static, its very dynamic. Therefore, when we supported the Afghan's it was to stop Soviet expansion. When we supported Iraq it was to prevent Iran from being the most dominant force in the Middle East. Both very good things at the time.
As far as living in fear, having freedoms curtailed, and color coded TV screens you have must get your news from the liberal press. I dont live in fear, I'm actually proud my coutry is doing something about terrorist. I havent had one freedom curtailed, i'm doing the same things i always have, no problems. As far as TV, I barely watch TV and when I do I don't have colors pumping through my veins. The liberals are always claiming the end of the world and its always the US's fault. Get over yourselves!
