O M G , I gone fat. WEll getten there. And no this is not some lame attempt to look like Micheal Moore's long lost clone. I guess it comes from being a Cube Farm lacky for tech support in an office of 1500 nerds [ we rule ! ] , and I went from 195 lbs working pipe laying to a WAY TO HEAVY 220.
The other night I was thinking another 10 lbs and I'd need to wear the BRO. So I been going to the gym again, and I am looking for some good tips , and also some good shit to cramm down my throat.
No needles , no steriods , I aint into that. Just some stuff with pep to help me cut down to maybe 200. I can live with that at 6'1.

run in the morning and after work. 20-30 minutes each time, doesnt have to be hard core pace.
If you want to lose weight even faster quit drinking alcohol, seriously. The running will take about a month to kick in and then you'll notice the fat falling off. This is how I get cut up. Also run 3-4 days out of the week, anymore and you'll fuck up your legs.
As for food I amable to eat 6-7 meals a day, each around 500 calories, which could be 2 cans of tuna, and 2 slices of bread (whole wheat) or a meal replacement shake, to 4 oz. of chicken (size of a closed fist).
I don't follow diets, It just takes both exercise and eating healthy.

No fast food ( I rarely eat the shit, if at all).
Exercise, walk if you can't jog, then jog till you can run, then work your way up to running.
Went to the store or mall? Park on the other side of the parking lot and walk.
Live in a highrise? Walk the stairs, not elevator. First down, then as ya feel better walk up em. Then when ya feel much better jog up em.
Lose the soda, drink water. Need caffiene? Drink coffee, expresso.
Basically improve your diet, get exercise, fuck soda pop.
I'm probably at least twice your age, and I'm in great shape, and I smoke and drink. I work with the #3 rated BMX rider nationwide, he's over 40 yrs old. Also work with a guy who's over 40 who plays competative hockey 3 to 5 nights a week. I can outski any motherfucker on the face of the earth (used to compete), I love seeing active duty marines and peeps I go skiing with all winded and shit and going "how the fuck do you do this?". Makes me feel good.
No need to go crazy like them, but just find ways, small ways at first to challenge yourself, and lose the sodas and shit food.

I was turning into a chunky ass, was wearing 38 waist pants!!!! So I went on a water diet. NO FUCKING SODA OR BEER!!!!!!!
I got a Gatorade bottle, the kind with the nipple thingy on top(not really a rubber nipple) and filled it w/ water, and I drink from it if I feel hungry. I ate a bit less, but not huge diet plan. Ever since I've stopped drinking pop I'm wearing 34 waists again! I'm not Arnold, but I'm not a fatass either. Good luck bro, it's hard staying thin now a days w/ all these fast foods and pop.

Fastest way I've seen to lose wirght heh.. a fucking dumbass friend of mine started smoking meth lately, we went from fat ass to in shape in 2 weeks..but meth is fucking lame he's so addicted now it's sad. Eat 1.5 grams of protein per lb you weigh. Eat less carbs and only eat low gi carbs (whole wheat, oatmeal, etc), eat below your caloric maintenence level...like 500 calories. Drink a gallon of water a day, and do cardio or some sort of HIIT regiment.
start eating for health and not for pleasure.

Thanks so far all.
Been going 3 times week to gym, I start with 20-30 mins light jog and then do the circuit [ its some kinda Hammer Stregth weight set , like free weights but machines ].
Cut pop out almost completely. I wont cut out beer. I rarely eat crap food [ IE fast , but I did today <img src="/~stretch/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> ... ] I'll use this info for sure .
I also drink tonnes of water at work, all I do. I will take some of this and see what happens at the end of month.
