if a word has a constanant, it's already eliminated (example: A is a word, I is a word, C is not a word). So, to eliminate all but 1 letter, which from the riddle I gather you do that for each letter. Considering that, it's not possible for the word to have anything but vowels. Don't know many (any?) 9 letter words that consist purely of vowels.
